Patient’s Testimonial

printed with permission

“Paul Rooney and acupuncture treatments have been paramount in the pain management of my chronic overuse syndrome. I did not want to become dependent on drugs or attempt invasive surgeries that are reputed to be short-term answers. I tried many therapies. If you want to save time and money and purchase exemplary care, see Paul first; you won’t regret it.
I also have two friends who quit smoking with his assistance.”

Neuroscientist Candace Pert, in The Molecules of Emotion, states that putting attention on our breath during meditation creates many benefits. “Mindful breathing” helps one “enter the mind-body conversation without judgments or opinions, releasing peptide molecules from the hindbrain to regulate breathing while unifying all systems.” Peptides can be much more powerful than narcotics in regulating pain in the body.
